Nissan Recall

Posted by admin 0 comments

Nissan is recalling 7,365 copies of the 2011 Rogue to fix a problem with the power steering.

The affected vehicles were built between Aug. 17 and Oct. 30, 2010. Don’t let your old Nissan go to junk.

Nissan says a circuit board may not have been installed in the correct position on the electric power steering assist control unit. This may cause the solder on the circuit board to crack or break.

If the circuit board fails or separates, the power-steering system will stop working, which could lead to a crash.

Nissan will replace the control unit for free. Owners can contact Nissan at (800) 647-7261 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at (888) 327-4236.

Nissan has always made a very sturdy car, we see many come though our charity car program here in Toronto, most have 250k or more on the odometer.
